Vivek Prakash Suradkar discovered his creative voice painting and performing on stage—then transitioned into photography, crafting visual narratives through still frames. After creating a well-received self-funded short film (featured in The Indian Express), he realized the true power of moving imagery. To hone his craft, Vivek enrolled at the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune (Cinematography, Class of 2018). There, he immersed himself in storytelling, composition, and lighting, shaping a cinematic language grounded in collaboration and precision.
Approach & Philosophy
At his core, Vivek views filmmaking as a collaborative art form—where every person on set contributes to the final visual narrative. He adapts his cinematographic style to each story’s soul, alternating between naturalistic realism and stylized visual emotion, always with a client- and story-first ethos. Whether working on an indie short or a branded commercial, he commits to delivering striking visuals that balance creativity with operational discipline—even on tight schedules
